Who this covers
- Viewers — people who browse places, watch dish videos, and save favorites.
- Business owners — restaurants, cafés, and other food/drink vendors who create a page and upload videos.
Information we collect
Viewers (no account required):
- Location — if you allow it, we use your device location to show places near you. It’s used in your browser to center the map; we do not store your precise location on our servers.
- Saved places — stored locally in your browser (on your device), not on our servers.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs and aggregate analytics (e.g., pages viewed), used to operate and improve the Service.
Business owners (account required):
- Account info — email address and authentication data.
- Business info you provide — name, description, address, phone, website, hours, and the videos and menu items you upload.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: show menus, videos, maps, and nearby results.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with owners about their account.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run the Service; they process data only to provide their service to us: Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Mux (video hosting and delivery), Mapbox (maps and geocoding), Vercel (hosting), and Cloudflare (DNS).
Cookies & local storage
We use local storage to remember your saved places and preferences on your device. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Deny or revoke location access in your browser at any time.
- Clear saved places by clearing your browser data.
- Owners can edit or remove business info, or request account deletion, by contacting us.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll revise the effective date above. Continued use means you accept the update.
